Pray WithU is committed to protecting your privacy. This page explains what we collect, how we use it, which service providers help us operate the app, and the controls you have over your account data.

Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, user ID, and profile information you choose to provide, such as church, city or region, bio, favorite verse, and profile photo. We also store the content and activity needed to deliver Pray WithU, including prayer requests, circle membership and activity, notes, Scripture highlights, guided prayer activity, Bible study activity, reminders, duels, and app settings.

Spiritual and sensitive content

Pray WithU is built around prayer, Scripture, reflection, and Christian community. The prayer requests, reflections, notes, and faith-related details you choose to enter may include religious or other sensitive information. We use this information to provide the app experience, personalize prayer and Scripture flows, and keep your spiritual history available to you and the circles where you intentionally share it.

Photos, audio, and user content

If you add a profile photo, we upload and store that image for your account. If you use voice prayer, dictation, or live prayer features, audio may be transmitted to service providers so the feature can work. We do not use your photos, audio, prayer requests, notes, or other user content for advertising.

Usage, diagnostics, and approximate location

We collect app activity and diagnostic information such as app opens, screen views, feature interactions, notification interactions, prayer and circle events, paywall or checkout events, crash data, and performance data. We may also collect approximate location-style metadata such as locale, language, time zone, country derived from locale, or the city/region you add to your profile. We use this information to operate the app, understand what features are working, improve reliability, and plan product improvements.

Purchases and subscriptions

If paid features are available in the app, purchase and subscription status may be processed by Apple and RevenueCat so we can unlock access, restore purchases, and support your account. We do not receive or store your payment card number, bank account number, or other payment method details.

How we use your information

Your data is used to operate Pray WithU: creating and joining prayer circles, facilitating live prayer sessions, tracking your spiritual journey, and sending notifications you have chosen to receive. We also use data for account security, customer support, product analytics, performance monitoring, and personalization of prayer, Scripture, study, and reminder experiences.

Prayer data privacy

Prayer requests are visible only to the circles where they are shared. Personal notes, Scripture highlights, and private growth data remain tied to your own account unless you explicitly share them.

Service providers

We use service providers to operate Pray WithU, including Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, hosting, data storage, analytics events, Cloud Functions, and notifications; Expo for app services such as notifications and builds; RevenueCat for subscription management when purchases are enabled; and voice or realtime infrastructure providers when voice prayer features are used. These providers process data only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the app.

No advertising or tracking

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for third-party advertising, and we do not share your data with data brokers. We do not use advertising networks to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Your choices

You can update profile information in the app, adjust notification preferences, leave circles, delete content where the app allows it, and delete your account from the app. For privacy questions or help with deletion requests, contact support@praywithyou.app.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and communicate the change inside the app when appropriate.
